Our Traditional Mate is rich with a full flavored body, yet surprisingly soft on the palate, and complimented by earthy, and woodsy aromas.
French Press / Tea Pot / Strainer: Use ~1.5 tsp yerba mate per serving, then add freshly boiled water. Steep for 3-10 minutes. Adjust to desired strength.
Coffee Maker: Place ~1.5 tsp yerba mate per serving in the filter basket, and brew normally. Adjust to desired strength.
Mate Latte: Brew an 8 oz cup of hot yerba mate. Add sweetener (sugar, honey, agave, or maple syrup) to taste and 4 oz of steamed milk of choice. Top off with milk foam. Makes a 12 oz mate latte. Delicious hot or iced.
Iced Mate: Brew an 8 oz cup of hot yerba mate. Add ice and lemon or fresh mint to taste.
